George Meidhof

George MeidhofDuring his 25 year career in the telecommunications industry, Mr. George Meidhof held numerous executive positions with both national and international companies. In the mid nineties, it became clear to George that telecommunications did not have the bright future that Wall Street was projecting. Increasing competition dropped prices down to levels where profit margins were vanishing. Industry newcomers were flooding the market with new technological offerings at a pace faster than the public could absorb. And the trend to merge or buy foreign companies at prices much higher than their valuation appeared to be a house of cards that Mr. Meidhof felt was about to come toppling down.

He turned to Entrepreneurship as his vehicle to provide a hedge against what he perceived was an uncertain future in telecommunications. In 1995 he opened his first company which purchased distressed properties and restored those homes to market condition. During that time, George fell in love with the entrepreneurial lifestyle and also realized that there was much more to running a small business than just providing a product. He learned to develop the systems required to be a success. As his company grew, he branched into other opportunities. In 2002 he assembled a team of investors to raise the capital to purchase a Keller Williams Realty Franchise and managed all pertinent aspects of start up. He personally developed and implemented the business plan and the marketing plan for this start up company. He hired the staff , located the office space, negotiated the lease, and established relationships with services vendors and ancillary product suppliers. The company grew to 165 agents and $312,000,000 sales volume. To enhance profitability, George added a mortgage company and a title company to provide adjunct services to the Real Estate Agency. In 2006, he sold the company to a large Real Estate firm.


The success he had since leaving the corporate world attracted the attention of former colleagues and friends, who called on George for advice in developing their own ventures. It was one of those colleagues who suggested that George become a "coach". His research lead him to the Professional Business Coaches Alliance as the organization to become affiliated with. Their direction, standards and ethical methods convinced George that they were headed in the right direction. In 2007, he met the qualifications to become licensed by the PBCA. Also in 2007, George was hand-picked by Dan Kennedy, America's #1 Marketing and Entrepreneurship Consultant, to be a "certified No BS Business Adviser" to coach, cajole, nag, and elevate entrepreneurs and small business owners to transform their businesses and their lives by implementing Dan Kennedy's Breakthrough Business Strategies.

George has a BS in Business Administration, an MBA in Business Law.
